2. The rectangular shape seems more appealing to me. The other option is more square. This one also has a nice size of log in the fireplace. The other one is way too big. In option one you can also see the brickwork I side the fireplace. And there appears to a door which can be opened.
4. fire near on bed and shoba
7. It has a more retro look and a classier feel.
8. The split door seems more rustic, as does the wider profile.
12. The first option has more of a sleek, lodge feel that makes one think they are on vacation while the second option looks more like the inside of a house rather than a resort.

24. It looks more grand, I also like the wider window to show more of the fire. Even though it looks rustic, It's still sleek and clean.
27. 1 looks bigger and more imposing; it's more likely that it won't look ridiculously small in what I imagine will be a large hall in a ski lodge.

44. Looks more fancy and it's bigger. The room is more attractive for me.
46. This looks like something that will suit the ski-lodge set-up.
47. I like the how the fireplace looks wilder and more sombre. Option 2 has too much activity going on. Additionally its narrow frame looks more high energy whereas I imagine relaxing in a calm and relaxing environment after skiing.
51. This fireplace is wider and classier looking. For a ski lodge I would think one would want a more robust looking fireplace. The alternative option is too small and looks like it belongs in a drafty basement

18. Looks bigger without the middle vertical bar
19. I like the look and the design of option 2. It really brings out the room. The colour of the stone tile is also pleasing and appealing to the eye. It makes the fire “pop” out if that makes sense.
